Constructed of rust-resistant stainless steel, the Striker hopper body is reinforced with wrap-around welds for supreme durability against stress and is loaded with the latest in snow and ice control technology to provide more targeted, more profitable spreading.

Reduce material waste with this innovative chute design that delivers material to the precise points on the spinner that cast it out and away from the truck, instead of back on your bumper.
 
Circular Shutter Deflector

Maximize material control with the easy-to-adjust shutter deflector that allows one-side spreading operation, preventing materials from going where they aren’t intended to go.
 
6025Sealed Dual Electric Motors

Two instant-start, 12-volt electric motors provide quiet, reliable and independent control over the conveyor and spinner mechanisms. The spinner motor is sealed inside a weather-resistant housing, protecting it from corrosion. (Gas and hydraulic options also available)

Enhanced dual variable-speed control allows you to precisely match material delivery and spread patterns to conditions. Four standard accessory buttons and a dedicated blast button provide optimum in-cab efficiency. Easy-to-understand, digital self-diagnostics alert the operator when the hopper is empty or when adjustments are needed, and LEDs make the control easy to read. Its compact size compared to traditional controls fits easily into today’s modern truck cab designs.

Two Gas Powered Options
The Striker™ stainless steel hopper spreader is available in two low-maintenance, gas-powered motor options. Choose either the 10.5 HP I/C Briggs & Stratton® motor (shown) or the 11 HP I/C Honda® motor.

Hydraulic Powered Option
With the most available power, the WESTERN® Striker™ stainless steel hopper spreader’s hydraulic powered motor option offers dual variable speed control and reliable operation.

One of the widest in the industry, the 16½" conveyor moves more material consistently and smoothly to help reduce bridging.
 
6064Accessory Hub*

Conveniently connect accessories directly into the hub mounted in the back of the hopper, without having to run additional wires from the front of the truck.

6031Dual Swing Chute Design

The dual swing chute design swings open from either side to provide easy access for maintenance or material unloading. A dump button*, conveniently located at the back of the hopper, runs the conveyor for easy clean out.

Convenient Dump & Work Light Buttons*

The Striker™ stainless steel hopper spreader is designed for convenience. Located at the rear of the hopper are two dump buttons that run the conveyor for easily unloading excess material or quickly filling a walk-behind or tailgate spreader. A work light button lights the area at the rear of the spreader for better visibility when operating the dump buttons or working at the back of the hopper.

6171Adjustable Drop Chute

An adjustable drop chute accommodates pickup truck and flatbed applications, ensuring the assembly is always at the optimum spreading height. The chute extension is standard on 9’ and 10’ models, and available as an option on 7’ and 8’ models.

The Striker™ stainless steel hopper spreader features an adjustable feed gate to further control the amount of material flowing from the hopper to the spinner. This feature is especially useful for users who choose gas-powered models.

Built with low-maintenance, rust resistant stainless steel, the hopper is reinforced with wrap-around welded joints for long-life protection against stress.

A standard inverted V located inside the hopper helps break up clumps to ensure the smooth flow of material. An optional vibrator kit is available to help reduce bridging and keep material running smoothly.

A standard steel top screen helps break up large chunks of de-icing material during the loading process to help prevent clogging and bridging during spreader operation.
